Seething and Mundham is a small primary school, situated in Seething, a small village in south Norfolk, located in a modern building (we opened in 2010) on the site of the historic village school. This blend of the traditional and the new reflects the type of school we are – forward looking and innovative while also being deeply rooted in our local community. We are proud to be part of Sapientia Education Trust (SET) which has several small schools like ours as well as larger primary and secondary academies; all Norfolk based.
Our school is a happy one, where we celebrate individuals and everyone is respected and valued. We pride ourselves on creating a happy, friendly, and nurturing environment in which children can learn and develop confidently. We hold high expectations of all our children and encourage them not only to make academic progress, but also develop as people who care for each other and the natural world around them. All our children are encouraged to become responsible, global citizens who appreciate the needs of others and have a strong sense of personal self-esteem and confidence.
We currently have three classes – Bittern which comprises of reception and year one, Kestrel a mix of year two and three and Hawks – that covers year four to year six. Please take a look at the class pages (the links are at the top of this page) to find out more about what is happening in each class.
An incredibly important element of our school, is our Forest school. We think it is something really special that will help your child enjoy and achieve in both our aim to progress academically and personally.
We are continually looking to develop this website so it is more helpful to current and prospective families and pupils. Do let us know if you have any suggestions.
